The Commissioners attended a special meeting for the purpose of claims approval and authorization for a Montana Department of Commerce Big Sky Economic Trust Fund Grant Application for Motor Coach Maintenance on Wednesday, July 5, 2017 @ 9:00AM. In attendance were Commissioners White and Seifert via phone, Finance Director Ed Blackman, Grants Coordinator Connie McWilliams and Commission Assistant Steph Kamerman.
Commissioner White read the claims memo. Commissioner Seifert made a motion to approve the claims as presented. Commissioner White seconded the motion. All voted aye. Motion carried unanimously.
Mr. Blackman and Ms. Williams presented the Grant Application for the Big Sky Economic Trust Fund Grant for Motor Coach Maintenance. This grant does not require any financial obligation from the County. There may related follow up due to the state in August. Commissioner Seifert questioned if this grant will reduce the county to receive any grants in the future. Mr. Blackman stated that this grant will not affect future grants. He added that Bequet Confections will also be applying for the grant. Commissioner Seifert made a motion to authorize Commissioner White to sign the application as presented.
